I’ve got 14 Valentines to make for my 14 days of Valentine’s for my hubby, remember! I do and I have to get more than one done every week. I used the sketch over on Mojo Monday to guide me and let My Pink Stamper provide the subject—something yummy and I had my card.
Here’s the sketch:
And here’s my card:
I used a sheet of paper from that Ever After pack of Cosmo Cricket for the base of the card and a sheet from My Mind Eye’s Love Nest for the top of the card. The card stock is all scraps from my scrap drawers. I love it when I use what I have and see my scrap drawers start to dwindle down to nothing. It’ll be a while until that happens but I am working on it!
The sun like piece behind the coffee cup cut at 3” and the 3 hearts are from Accent Essentials. The coffee cup is from Christmas Cheer and is cut at almost 2”. I used the contour and hide feature to hide the steamy swirls that come out of the cup. Then I cut out the center of the mug so that it would look like coffee in the cup. The font is Printing press and I welded it with my Gypsy. The lettering is cut at 1” except for the U and it is cut at about 1 1/4”.
