A Banner for my mantel or maybe . . .

I really don’t know where I’m going to put this banner.  I’ll have to experiment with where it looks best.   Isn’t it pretty!

For this banner I used the lips from Indie Art, and the tags came from Winter Frolic.  The font is Mickey and I used the scalloped circle from Mini Monograms.  I also used the heart from Doodlecharms.  The paper was from my stash. The black and off white patterned papers are from Hobby Lobby, the red and white polka dot is Daisy D’s, and the cardstock is mostly Cord’nations.

The largest tag is 4” high.

The paper flowers are from Hobby Lobby.  I tried to make them look like little bouquets.

I faux stitched all the layers and popped each layer up with dimensionals. P1070958

And so that’s it for today!  I hope you are warm and safe during this really bad storm.

Number 10# and done!!!

Yes, I am done! I did a little happy dance and then promptly showed my husband the whole album.  So without further a-do, I will show you the last page of this album that’s a year over due!

Very simple and easy to put together.  I’m still using that 2009 DCWV Christmas stack with a little of 2010 stuck in there.  The card stock is Core’dinations.  The sentiment comes from Winter Frolic which I’ve not had a chance to use much with being sick.  The trees are from the Christmas Solutions cart.  I love this tree.  I continued with faux gold stitching to bring continuity to the album. It’s done!  I am so excited.  The tags came from Winter Woodlands.  This cart has some beautifully shaped tags if you haven’t checked it out.  Now for some close-ups and the tags.   Oh, and did I say I’m done?

I can’t wait to get this off to my daughter.  We’ll see how long it takes her to get her pictures in it!

Page 8—Can I get through it?

Two more pages and I can hand this long over due album to my daughter!  I can’t wait to do so.  She’s waited patiently for so long.  So Amy, one more page done and two more to go!  Yea!

P1070736

A simple page with not a lot of adornment but I think that’s OK.  The paper seemed to me to be enough.  I kept using the gold faux stitching on the photo mats as I have through out the whole album.  The tree on the pocket holding the tags is from the Solutions Christmas cart.  I have to confess that I measured incorrectly when I cut the tree and had to snip the top little curly cue off.  The paper is from the same sources as I’ve used throughout the album.  The title is cut from Storybook and Alphalicous and welded with my Gypsy.

The tags are the special part of this LO.  The tag comes from  Winter Frolic and the gift is from Joys of the Season.  The jewels are actually brads that I’ve had a long time. I got the ribbon two years ago at Hobby Lobby.  I also used some green Stickles on the bows.

I love these tags!  I know my daughter will too.

What do you think Amy?
