It's that time of year when I get all mushy and sick about loving my husband. Forgive me! It is just the way I am.
It's also been a lot of months since my last entry. Sorry. I've running from my blog for a while, feeling less than inspired and creative. Maybe now I am back on the wings of inspiration and ready to inspire more than me.
For my first day of love, I made a simple card using my Cricut. The cuts come from the following cartridges:
The heart and the x are from George and basic shapes with the heart cut at 2" and the x at 1".
The sentiment is cut from A Child's Year at 1".
Under the heart is a chocolate marshmallow heart which happens to be one of my husband's favorite things. Inside is a sentiment written by me and a carpenter's pencil that I attached to the inside with adhesive.
The photos are not great because I took them with my iPad and quickly, but here they are anyway.

A quick birthday card
When I made the album for my sister, I also made a card and gift bag. I love the way they turned out. Today I’ll share the birthday card and I’ll share the gift bag Friday.
Again the photography is poor, but I think you can still see how nice it turned out.
The paper was again miscellaneous scraps of Bazzill card stock and K&Company CK Margo Vintage Vine Glitter paper which I love. The flowers are a mish mash of Prima, Flora Doodles, and the Paper Factory from Hobby Lobby. The ribbon is also from Hobby Lobby and the sentiment is a stamp from the dollar bin at Joann's.
Tomorrow the gift bag and I’ll have some neat projects for next week.
